There is no accommodation actually on black range or within a short walk of the campsite, but I have found a couple of great spots nearby, with friendly host that are happy to pick you up and drop you back the next day. This must be organise and booked before you start the walk, and you need to plan you pickup from Black Range campsite.
Telstra NextG provides weak coverage in the area around the Black Range campsite. A phone with a Telstra ‘Blue Tick’ works best in rural areas such as this. Reception is better closer to Black Range and Jenolan Roads.
